    Home

Gentlemen, I made the pilgrimmage this past weekend while I was home to the great Willard house. I was excited by what I saw. 7 sophomores and Doug, one of my LT guys from days of yore. I read the logs and they have been maintained through the current generation. Weekly house dinners are still held, dead animals still adorn the walls, and new pictures have been added to the wall. The men of Willard present have definately made the house their own, but that is to be respected, not discouraged. I walked in to a fire in the fireplace, was welcomed by people I don’t know, and offered free range to go wherever I wanted. The back door has been fixed so no leaky bosom anymore and according to the 2005 logs, Ian is pissed Mikey P didn’t fix stuff. Although the house should still be condemned, new tile has been placed in the master bath and a new exhaust system exists in the bosom. Apparently one of the guys there even hunts on Mikey P’s land. I hope yall enjoy the pictures.

There is even a sign now

I suppose you could classify a fan in a VDOT cone as an “exhaust fan”

I went to Blacksburg this weekend for a wedding as well as to celebrate freedom. I learned while I was there that there is a leader living in the bosom. That’s right. The bosom. His name is James. I look forward to meeting him this fall. Apparently his grades were struggling and his parents said if he got them up, his reward would be moving to Willard. Well, his reward is the bosom. Way to go James.

Scott, you’re blowing my mind. Someone is living in the bosom? And I thought that Harris, Mo, and I had it bad living in the other “rooms” in the basement. James is going to enjoy the lifelong sinus issues he’s walking into.

Thank you for your concern of my living situation in the basement. Luckily, due to other residents strange choices, I was able to negotiate the small room upstairs. There are however, three people in the basement, all in the big room, with one (Doug Clelland) keeping his bed in the closet under the stairs.

James the small room is great. A man named Lee Hannah once lived there. His knowledge of Super Bowl trivia can not be surpassed.

marty, how could you read that and bypass the statement “with one keeping his bed in the closet under the stairs” without commenting? there are so many things wrong with that i can’t begin to list them. but i will

        1) where the skit closet at?
        2) poop flood?
        3) creaky stairs all hours of the night?
        4) poop flood?

        • Marty 4:47 pm on August 7, 2010 Permalink

HUnter I could read it and by pass it because those things are obviously non issues to the man living in the closet. I was also just so happy for james to get the small room.

    we might be rednecks

So I’m cleaning out a bunch of my old stuff and I found my “You Might Be a Redneck If” calendar from last year.
November 5 was “There is a trampoline in your front yard.”
October 23 was “You’ve ever raked leaves in your kitchen.” (Me)
November 13 “You think you’re a fashion designer because you cut the arms off your T-shirts.”
November 20 “You’ve ever hunted in your front yard.” (Josh Brown)
November 24 “You dunk cookies into soda.” (Rawls)

I’ve never dipped my cookies in soda. I’m appalled that you would suggest such a thing.

i had a horrible time attempting to skin this guy. It ended up leading to some blog inappropriate pictures… gross. Anyways also clark and I made squirrel tacos. and they were amazing. and dont forget the possums in the bosom. That has to fit under the redneck category.

I would think that building a fire in the fireplace that was so huge and so hot that you couldn’t stand to be in the same room as the fire has to rank up there somewhere.

not to mention that a good 50% of the stuff burned was something other than wood logs.

          like bathroom trash.

        • Joshua Brown 10:25 pm on April 14, 2010 Permalink

speaking of bathroom trash, what ever happened to Ian’s painting of the toilet that sat outside forever? Is it still up in the bathroom? Oh how I hope so.
